Transform Individual Origins for trueSpace7.61
Transform multiple objects or joints about their individual origins. The action is similar to the point edit mode tangent coordinate system.
persistent base install v3 required
Comes pre-installed in the Unofficial trueSpace Updates - https://www.united3dartists.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=55
Installation:
- Reset the Default Context if any toolbars have been modified
- install the persistent base if not already installed
- drag the node into the link editor and press the install button
- delete the node from the scene after install is complete
Controls:
- Location - move objects and joints in their local XYZ directions
- Rotation - rotate objects and joints about their local XYZ axes
- Scale - scale objects(not joints) about their individual origins, uniform or in XYZ
- Reset Controls - set default values for all controls
- Joint Mode status indicator - Green = Joint Mode
- Joint Selection - run in joint selection mode
- Prev Joint Sel - joint selection mode using the previously defined joint selection
- Hide and Show - hide or show the joint markers
- End Joint Mode - stop joint mode to use on regular scene objects
Object Mode:
- Select the objects in the scene
- Drag the scrubbers to transform them
Joint Mode:
- Press the Joint Selection button to start Joint Mode
- Select actor or skeleton and start the Dynamic Pose tool
- Select joints to add them to the "joint selection"
- Drag the scrubber controls to transform them
Notes:
- All transformations are based on the difference between the previous control value and the new one. The numbers do not correspond to the transform values. They only show that a value has changed.
- Scale uses a set range of values depending on whether the new value is less than or greater than the previous value.
- Joint Mode will respect the joint limits
- Joints can be added or removed from the selection at any time
- If the joint markers are visible, pressing Show will update their positions
